The Lions were honored with the program's fourth United Soccer Coaches (USC) College Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award, after the USC announced the 2024 recipients on December 31.

Yasmin Defne Dadikhi '26 earned an All-Academic Individual Award from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for her combination of scholastic and placement in the top 35 at Regionals during the 2023 NCAA Division III cross country season. Additonally, the Emerson College Women's Cross Country Team earned National Academic Ratings for the 2023 NCAA DIvision III season. Announced by the U.S Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, the team placed 13th in the nation with a team GPA of 3.81.

Six members of the Emerson College Women's Soccer team earned a First Team All Conference honor from the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC), recognizing outstanding individual play. The Lions reached the NEWMAC semifinals for the second time in two seasons.

The Emerson College Women's Soccer team reached the NEWMAC semifinals for the second time in two seasons. In an incredible double-overtime game against Babson, the Lions came up short on their quest to repeat as NEWMAC Champions, losing the game 2-1, but finished the season strong.

The Emerson College Men's Basketball team ended its season, after earning the #2 seed in the NEWMAC playoffs, against Babson, with Babson defeating Emerson 69-64 on February 23rd, 2023, in a NEWMAC playoff game at Emerson College. The team had a 16-10 overall record, and an impressive record of 11-3 within NEWMAC, for 2022.

Emerson College students recently received Honorable Mentions for the AVCA Division III All-America teams. The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced its 41st annual NCAA Division III All-America Teams for women's volleyball. Honorable mentions were given to the two Emerson College Women's Volleyball players. Both players were also selected to their second NEWMAC All-Conference Teams.

Five Emerson College students were named to NEWMAC All-Sportsmanship Team. The All-Sportsmanship Team award is intended to recognize one student-athlete from each institution in every sport. The award is given to a student that best demonstrates the ideals NEWMAC and its Code of Conduct.

The Emerson College Women's Volleyball team lost to Smith College in the NEWMAC Quarterfinals on Tuesday, November 1st, at the Brown and Plofker Gym, ending their strong 2022 Fall season. The Lions finished the 2022 season with an overall record of 18-5 and a NEWMAC record of 7-3. The team reached a regional ranking of #3 during the last week of the regular season.

The Emerson College Women's soccer team completed their Fall 2022 season making history. The Lions finished the season with an overall record of 12-4-5 and a New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) record of 7-1-3. For the first time ever the Lions won the 2022 NEWMAC Championship. Advancing to the NCAA III tournament, the Lions lost to Westfield State in the opening round.

The Men's team advanced to their first-ever NEWMAC championship game in history. The Emerson College Men's soccer team completed the 2022 campaign as their most successful season. The team finsihed with an overall record of 10-3-6 and a NEWMAC record of 4-2-1. The Lions lost to Babson College in the NEWMAC Championship game.

The Emerson College women's soccer team made history, being the first Emerson College team to nationally ranked. The women's team was ranked #24 in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Women's Rankings on October 18.

The Emerson Men's Tennis team has six members included on the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) 2022 Division III Men's Tennis Scholar-Athletes Team. The Men's Tennis team is also on the Division III Men's All-Academic Teams list. For ITA eligibility an athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) for the current academic year. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, the team grade point average must be 3.2 or above (on a 4.0 scale), all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form and all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.

The Emerson Women's Volleyball team received the 2021-22 Division III United States Marine Corps/American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award. The Women's team was also honored in the Team Academic Award Honor Roll, which recognizes the top 20% of team GPAs in each division. The USMC/AVCA award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale.

The Emerson Women's Basketball team had the highest cumulative GPA of any Division III women's hoops team, with a culmitaive GPA of 3.84 this past academic year. The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2021-22 season is the 27th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls. Emerson was one of 212 teams recognized, receiving honor roll recognition for the seventh straight season.

Emerson College students received a sports programming award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in their work for The Box Score, a student-run sports talk show.

The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced the 2022 Academic Awards, naming Emerson College student as one of the Divison III athletes to make the USILA Scholar All-American team.

The All-Sportsmanship Team award is intended to recognize one student-athlete from each institution in every sport that best demonstrates the ideals of the NEWMAC and its Code of Conduct, regardless of overall performance or statistics for the season.

Men's Basketball player Jarred Houston was named to the 2021-2022 NCAA Division III All-America Team.

The NEWMAC conference announced in late February that student-athletes from the Women's Basketball team earned 2021-22 NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honors. Students were selected from a certain GPA standing, acheiving a minimum of 3.5.

The New England Women and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) announced in late February that student-athletes from Emerson's men's basketball team earned 2021-22 NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honors. Students were selected from a certain GPA standing, having acheived a minimum of 3.5.

Jarred Houston scored his 1,000th career point in a Men's Basketball game against Clark University. Houston also earned the NEWMAC Men's Basketball co-defensive POTW for the week of January 24.
