At the end of this school year, the School of Communication at Emerson College held their Student Award Ceremony in which they recognized several outstanding students in various areas.

As part of this year's ERA (Emerson Recognition and Achievement) Awards, Lily Scher earned the highly-esteemed Orientation Leader of the Year Award.

As part of this year's ERA (Emerson Recognition and Achievement) Awards, Hallie Parrott earned the highly-esteemed Fraternity/Sorority Member of the Year award.

Two groups of Emerson students from varying majors and minors in the Department of Communication Studies traveled to Miami, Florida to experience Super Bowl LIV first-hand. These students had the oopportunity to work both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, surrounded by celebrities, conducting interviews, monitoring social media activity.

Thirty-two members of Emerson College's senior class were selected for its Purple Key Leadership Society, and will be recognized during the annual ERA Awards ceremony on Friday, April 3, 2020 as well as during the commencement program. The recipients of this prestigious honor demonstrate exceptional leadership, service, a strong commitment to civic engagement, and solid academic achievement.

On Tuesday, March 19, Emerson College Junior, Hannah Cairo, participated on the national game show Wheel Of Fortune during College Spring Break Week.

An Emerson College student is attending the Berlin International Film Festival in February of 2015. 

Five Emerson students are attending Cannes Film Fest in May of 2014 and participating in some of the programs run by Creative Minds, a film program that provides an opportunity for filmmakers to showcase their work and a platform for students and entry level professionals to connect with companies that can launch their careers.

More than 50 Emerson College students, under the direction of Anne Bogart, will present the world premiere of CafA(C) Variations, a distinctive production celebrating cafA(C) culture using vignettes from Charles Mee's CafA(C) Plays combine with music exclusively from the Gershwin songbook. The large ensemble cast features SITI Company members (in residence at Emerson College) performing alongside young artists from the Department of Performing Arts at Emerson College, incorporating dialogue, music, and dance to render romantic scenes ubiquitous to the lively world of the cafA(C). Each song and scene is a discreet short play but fits together as a whole piece, with a complete narrative.

For the ninth consecutive year, journalism students from Emerson College traveled to Los Angeles to cover the 84th annual Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 26 for WEBN News on webn.tv.

Cleveland resident awarded $20,000 grant.

Local residents were selected to represent Emerson College in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges for the 2011-2012 academic year, to which 100 students applied.

Emerson faculty chose eligible upper-class students and recent graduates based on their individually submitted scripts and synopses. Then, WGAE identified five professional writers based on their writing specialties to mentor the students.
