Taylor Ness in Emerson Stage Production of Fathers and Sons at Emerson College

2014 Jan 10

Taylor Ness of Fairport majoring in BFA Theatre Design / Technology at Emerson College is part of Emerson Stage's production of Fathers and Sons as Assistant Lighting Designer.

From the threshold of change, a young Russian revolutionary, Bazarov, arrives at the crumbling family estate of his best friend, Arkady, where he shows open disdain for their bourgeois complacency. Bazarov's own loyalties are put to the test however, when he meets a rich widow. His desperate actions that follow have tragic and lasting consequences. The play is by Brian Friel and is adapted from the novel by Ivan Turgenev.

Emerson's production is directed by Benny Sato Ambush and will run from February 6th to February 9th at the Paramount Mainstage (559 Washington Street, Boston) at Emerson College. Tickets are $20 for general audiences, $15 for students and seniors and $10 for the Emerson community.
