Stewartsville's Priscilla Liguori Inducted into Emerson College's Purple Key Leadership Society

Stewartsville's Priscilla Liguori, who is majoring in Journalism, and is a member of the class of 2016 at Emerson College, was inducted into the College's Purple Key Leadership Society for the 2016-17 academic year. Recipients of this honor have demonstrated exceptional leadership and service, solid academic achievement, and a commitment to civic engagement.

Students selected for this honor have completed at least 88 credits each prior to the Fall 2016 semester with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average, and are in good social standing. Applicants were reviewed by a committee comprised of students from the junior class and members of the academic and student affairs staffs, according to the following criteria: leadership and service; academic achievement; citizenship and civic engagement; and future potential leadership.

Purple Key Leadership Society recipients were recognized during the College's annual Emerson Recognition and Achievement Awards ceremony held on April 2.
