Southborough's Max Lyons Participates in Emerson College's Los Angeles Internship Study Program

Emerson College student Max Lyons of Southborough, who's majoring in Marketing Communication, is participating in the College's LA Program at Emerson Los Angeles. A senior, Lyons secured an internship position for the spring semester at Ninja Tune LA, and will complete the program in April 2015.

The LA Program takes place at the College's permanent facility, located on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. Up to 215 students can enroll in the fall and spring semesters. A smaller class is chosen for the summer term. Students who participate in the LA Program gain valuable internship experience, build connections with other students and professionals in their industry, and create a footprint in the local community by participating in community service programs.

Emerson was the first East Coast college to establish a residential study and internship program in LA. Since the program's inception in the 1980s, more than 4,300 students have participated in internships at renowned film studios, media outlets, marketing agencies, and related enterprises in LA, which is also home to more than 3,200 successful Emerson alumni.
