Pittsburgh's Kathleen Dewitt Cast in Emerson Stage Production of Newfest 2013: Catatonia at Emerson College

Pittsburgh's Kathleen Dewitt, a Theatre Design/Technology major at Emerson College, has been cast as Scenic Artist in Emerson Stage's production of Newfest 2013: Catatonia. In a chaotic but cozy apartment, a young woman named Molly is deep in a quarter-life crisis. When she is unexpectedly visited by ghosts of the literary past, she is forced to reckon head-on with the sad state of her disintegrating marriage, her sexually manipulative affair, and her cosmically twisted spiral downward. Emerson's production is by Theatre Studies major Dan Robert '13, winner of the Rod Parker Playwriting Fellowship, and directed by Joe Antoun. It will run March 21 through 24 in the Jackie Liebergott Black Box Theatre at Emerson College.
