Lea LeBlanc of Santa Monica Wins First Prize at Emerson College's Annual Entrepreneurship Expo

Lea LeBlanc of Santa Monica, CA, who is majoring in Marketing Communications at Emerson College was recently honored with a first prize at the College's annual E3 Expo for a proposed new venture.

LeBlanc, a member of the class of 2017, won a cash award of $5000 for her first place win. LeBlanc presented her venture, Wunder, to develop a fashionable and comfortable underwear for women with incontinence. She plans to stay in Boston after graduation to work on her venture.

Twenty undergraduate students pitched their start-up ventures and competed for cash prizes at the 12th annual E3 Expo. This year, the E3 Expo had an informal partnership with MIT's Martin Trust Center for Entrepreneurship where students visited the Center several times to connect with MIT entrepreneurs, and some engaged in collaborations with their MIT counterparts.
