Kayla Saliba of Mission Viejo Wins Second Prize at Emerson College's Annual Entrepreneurship Expo

Kayla Saliba of Mission Viejo, CA who is majoring in Marketing Communications at Emerson College was recently honored with a second prize at the College's annual E3 Expo for a proposed new venture.

Saliba, a member of the class of 2018, won a cash award of $3000 with her venture partner, Kimberly Gonzalez. The duo worked on their start-up, OddSpace, an online platform for DIY event planners.

Twenty undergraduate students pitched their start-up ventures and competed for cash prizes at the 12th annual E3 Expo. This year, the E3 Expo had an informal partnership with MIT's Martin Trust Center for Entrepreneurship where students visited the Center several times to connect with MIT entrepreneurs, and some engaged in collaborations with their MIT counterparts.
