Jake Stempel in Emerson Stage Production of "She Loves Me" at Emerson College

Chicago's Jake Stempel, a senior BFA Musical Theatre student at Emerson College, has earned the role of Waiter in Emerson Stage's production of She Loves Me. Stempel will join 26 fellow Emerson students in this musical comedy. Performances take place November 30 through December 4 at the Greene Theater in Emerson's Tufte Performance and Production Center (10 Boylston Place, Boston).

Set in 1930s Budapest, She Loves Me tells the story of Georg and Amalia, two bickering coworkers who fall for each other through an anonymous pen pal relationship. While their romantic relationship develops, the two continue to battle at work, not knowing they have been writing one another all the while.

Single tickets start at $12.
