Daniel Klingenstein of New Canaan, CT in Emerson Stage Production of Guys and Dolls at Emerson College.

2016 Mar 24

Daniel Klingenstein of New Canaan, CT, who's majoring in Musical Theatre at Emerson College, is part of Emerson Stage's production of Guys and Dolls.

A high-rolling gambler falls for a puritanical missionary; a showgirl dreams of the straight-and-narrow while tied to a craps game manager who is anything but; it's post-war New York, with love and luck blooming in the most unlikely of places. Filled with familiar and toe-tapping tunes including "Luck be a Lady," and "Sit Down, You're Rocking the Boat," Guys and Dolls is considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy.

Emerson's production is directed by Scott LaFeber, associate professor and head of musical theater, and will run April 14-16 at the Cutler Majestic Theatre (219 Tremont Street, Boston) at Emerson College. Tickets are $20 for general audiences, $15 for seniors and (non-Emerson) students, and $10 for the Emerson community. Ticket bundles are also offered at $30 for four tickets.
