Charlotte Knoerl-Morrill in Emerson Stage Production of The Love of the Nightingale at Emerson College

2013 Oct 9

Charlotte Knoerl-Morrill, of Dexter and majoring in BFA Stage/Production Management at Emerson College, is part of Emerson Stage's production of The Love of the Nightingale as Tech: Asst. Production Supervisor. Full of both tragedy and unexpected humor, this retelling of the Greek myth by Timberlake Wertenbaker of Philomela and her sister Procne demands the importance of speaking truth to power. A horrific cycle of violence begins before hope can finally be delivered through magical, eternal transformation.

Emerson's production is directed by Sarah Hickler and will run from October 10 to October 13 at the Jackie Liebergott Black Box Theatre (559 Washington Street, Boston) at Emerson College. Tickets are $12 for general audiences and $8 for the Emerson community.
